The BT Challenge for Technology!

Dear friends of Bound Together —

While Bound Together has worked since March 30 to serve our neighbors in Pontiac with emergency food, face masks and “summer school” bags for children, we have also been working in earnest to ensure that we continue our primary mission of after-school tutoring in 2020-21 — no matter what!

We know that these are uncertain times for education, and that we need to be prepared to respond to change at a moment’s notice. To do that, we are launching an 8K Challenge for Technology, graciously underwritten at 1:1 by our faithful board member Michael Whitted and focused upon the purchase of 25 Chromebooks to ensure that all of our kids are on a level playing field if (and when) we need to transition to fully remote learning.

All contributions, up to a goal of $4,000, will be matched by the challenge — making your gift even more powerful just at the moment that it makes such a difference for our kids.
