Bound Together students and chaperones will join other area students in an event showcasing the award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson - and also feature our students receiving their LEXIA reading awards from Oakland Schools’ Dr. Ashelin Currie!
Christmas is coming - and so is Shopping Day! This is a chance for our kids to choose a gift for four of their special grown-ups, and to experience the deep joy of giving to those we love. If you have items in your closet, love to be that "personal shopper", like to attach the bow or have some of those gift items that weren't quite right for you, but might be for someone else: please consider sharing gifts or your time with our Bound Together Department Store, where our children choose presents and we wrap to send home for under the tree. In the beginning, the Spirit "moved upon the face of the deep" -- water, in all of its many forms, is central to the story of creation and our relationship to God. Join a program where 4-11 year olds explore those stories, from Creation, Jonah and the mighty fish, and the parting of the Red Sea to Jesus' stilling of the waves and the water of baptism. Songs, games, arts and crafts -- you will not want to miss the fun and the friendships!
All Saints Pontiac will host children from all over northern Oakland County for a kid-friendly dinner at 5, program from 5:30 -7:30 PM each program evening. Click HERE for easy online registration!
Spring will be swinging as Dave Bennett and the Band return to support the Bound Together Benefit. With music that spans genres and influences from jazz and big band to rock and roll, Dave brings together sizzling instrumentals and romantic vocals in an afternoon that will make your weekend one to remember. Concert will be outdoors on the gorgeous grounds of the Sylvan Lake Community Center on Saturday, May 13, 4-6 PM; bring your friends along, and don't forget to check out the silent and live auction items before the concert at 3! Join Bound Together and Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic for COVID vaccinations/boosters on Wednesday, November 9, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church. All ages are welcome to this free clinic event.
Need your booster or to get the vaccine for your child? Join us at All Saints on Wednesday, 09.28, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the Exchange Street entrance and get ready for whatever the winter will bring us. Booster doses for ages 12 and older will be with the new mRNA vaccine only. All others ages 5-11 will receive the current Pfizer vaccine as primary and booster doses. Questions? We all have gifts to share, and a place in our families and our communities. Children 4-11 can come and explore their gifts, the love and strength of family, and the power of community as we share an ENCANTO Vacation Bible School from June 27 - July 1 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 171 West Pike in Pontiac! This camp is open to children ages 4-11, and will begin with a simple dinner each program day at 5 PM with program running from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. RESILIENCE is a movie about the challenges children face when they encounter adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), but more importantly it is about the ways in which having even one caring adult in a child’s like can make all of the difference. Join us on June 16 at 10 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 171 West Pike, Pontiac, to see the film, to talk with other parents and people who love kids about what we can do to make children’s lives better, and share some refreshments and door prizes, too! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to join friends in a safe social setting, with auction and raffle events, snacks and fun! Our friends from Notre Dame Preparatory and Marist Academy are planning a Field Day event for our students in the gym to encourage exercise, teamwork — and fun!
A chance to celebrate friendship, play some games and enjoy some party food for our BT students and tutors.
Taking a look at electricity and the Edison light bulb — another important area of engineering careers for our students to explore!
We will be working on paper airplane assembly line production — how to work efficiently and effectively in teams to get the job done!
BT students will meet at All Saints in order to board the bus at 11:15. We will participate in a docent-led activity and should be back at All Saints for pick-up no later than 1:30 PM. No backpacks or phones will be allowed. Students should have lunch before our trip!
